Baby Osteopathy
Babies can be subjected to enormous pressures during pregnancy, and particularily as part of the birthing process. This can cause tension that is retained in the body long after birth. Whereas some babies recover well, some babies can become very uncomfortable, which often manifests as unsettleness, irritability and excessive crying.
Some clues that your baby may benefit from osteopathic treatement:Baby may..

Some pre-dispositions include:- Long, difficult labour and/or "unusual" birth presentation
- Assisted delivery (ventouse, forceps) or cersarian section - Breech position in utero - Umbelical cord wrapped around the body, especially around the neck - etc. Remember that physical discomfort in your baby will often manifest as unsettleness, irritability and excessive crying. |

Many children & tennagers are also involved in sports and frequently put themselves and their bodies under a lot of pressure wich can lead to sports injuries. Whilst we strongly support young people being active, we would also urge coaches, parents and athletes to do their upmost to prevent sports injuries.
*Please note that children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult during the full duration of their appointment.
